Combined heating with wood and pellets

The DuoWIN offers an intelligent combination of the heating benefits of two biomass technologies. This hybrid boiler unites inexpensive split-log heating with the convenience of heating with pellets in a single device. For a quick blast of extra warmth, the PowerBoost function sees the split log and pellet units heat up at the same time for an output of up to 56 kW. With the DuoWIN, pellets can either be fed in manually or automatically. What’s more, the DuoWIN pellet unit can even be retrofitted further down the line with the pellet-ready model of the LogWIN Klassik split-log gasification boiler.

Individual pellet feed X

The DuoWIN may be equipped with either a manual or a fully automated pellet feed system.

Intelligent fuel changeover X

The hybrid boiler's automatic fuel changeover detects whether the wood gasification boiler is in burnout. If too little energy is available in the boiler or the heat accumulator, the system changes to using pellets either automatically or after an individually adjustable period of time.

More power or more efficiency X

The DuoWIN is available in either a comfort-optimised or an energy-optimised version: With the PowerBoost function, high power of up to 56 kW can be provided at short notice. Thanks to EnergySaver, the DuoWIN runs up to 25 per cent more efficiently in pellet mode than conventional combination boilers.

Two separate heat exchangers X

The two independent heat exchanger systems guarantee the highest possible levels of reliability. Neither the wood combustion chamber nor the stainless steel pellet burner are wearing parts, and both are included in the guarantee.

Automatic ignition X

The ignition elements of the DuoWIN ignite silently, require little maintenance and are included in the warranty.
